Here are a few photos from our May Day celebration, I'll add more as soon as I am able. Good weather, good friends, good food and a visit from the Good Folk, what more could one ask for?
Thanks! The hanging sign was made for us as a gift a few Yule's ago. There is a bit of lore to the name we chose. Years ago I read a few craft related books by the Campanelli's and they wrote that their farm was named Flying Witch Farm and they had this great weathervane of a flying witch atop the house.
When I was part of a larger local public group we named the place we gathered at Wheeling Witch Farm as our host was a paraplegic and in a wheelchair.
Later on when my husband and I moved out to the country we kept up with the theme by naming our place Rocking Witch Farm (there is an antique rocking chair that was my Grandmother's on the porch to my separate office/library which got nicknamed the Witch House).
I've got some other photos to upload when I get them off the other camera, thanks again for your comment!
As a Daughter of the Old Faith I am companion and friend to those with similar spiritual interests and inclinations.
I offer my trust and words of truth to those that call me friend and hope the same to be given in return.
I leave darkened breads and honey'd milk as gifts beneath the Elder tree.
I tread my Compass path beneath the pale Moonlight.
I fan bright my Sacred Fire in the heart of Woods at midnight.
I listen to the Voices of the Spirits of the Leaf, the Blossom, the Bud, and the Fruit of the Greenwood.
I sing the Old Songs and make the Calls to Change.
I plant my Stang in Sandy Fields at Water's edge.
I follow the Serpent's Tracks within and without.
Born in High Summer, in July, that makes me a Daughter of the Moon.

Awesome photos, thanks for sharing! And what a great name for a farm. ;)
