Notes from Rocking Witch Farm

Here are a few photos from our May Day celebration, I'll add more as soon as I am able. Good weather, good friends, good food and a visit from the Good Folk, what more could one ask for?

Awesome photos, thanks for sharing! And what a great name for a farm. ;)

Thanks! The hanging sign was made for us as a gift a few Yule's ago. There is a bit of lore to the name we chose. Years ago I read a few craft related books by the Campanelli's and they wrote that their farm was named Flying Witch Farm and they had this great weathervane of a flying witch atop the house.

When I was part of a larger local public group we named the place we gathered at Wheeling Witch Farm as our host was a paraplegic and in a wheelchair.

Later on when my husband and I moved out to the country we kept up with the theme by naming our place Rocking Witch Farm (there is an antique rocking chair that was my Grandmother's on the porch to my separate office/library which got nicknamed the Witch House).

I've got some other photos to upload when I get them off the other camera, thanks again for your comment!
